3 New Features To Improve Your Brazen Experience

When you log in to your Brazen Careerist account today, you’ll probably notice some exciting changes we rolled out over the weekend. We’re constantly working to provide our members with the best possible user experience, and this latest release is designed to do just that.

A New Sidebar

The most obvious change we made was redesigning the sidebar. Whether you come to Brazen Careerist for the blog posts, networks, jobs, events or all of the above, you can now customize your Brazen experience by hiding or expanding each section of the sidebar to fit your needs.

You’ll also notice a dropdown displaying your 10 most frequented networks so you can easily find the conversations that are relevant to you or you can  quickly browse through15 featured blog posts for your reading pleasure.

Content Specific Search

The next feature we launched is a content specific search. We’ve been using Google custom search for a while now, and a Brazen specific search was long overdue. However, we decided to take search a step further and let you filter your search for networks, people, companies, jobs or blog posts directly from the header. This new search feature should help you navigate Brazen quickly and easily, and discover content and people that you never even knew existed on the site.

The Brazen Bar & Brzn.me

The third feature we rolled out is the official Brazen bar. When you click on a job post or an external blog post link, you’ll be sent to the original site, but with a Brazen bar that lets you easily share the content with your friends on Twitter, Facebook or Linkedin. When you share the URL, we’ll automatically produce a shortened URL beginning with http://brzn.me. As we work towards optimizing our User Interface to drive more eyeballs and traffic to your blog posts, the bar and URL shortener will become even more feature rich and useful. For now, it’s a great way to share Brazen content with all of your networks.
