My problems with the “Hacker’s Way” are:

    1. Even if you come up with a solution that works, it’s almost always a one-off solution that solves sometihing immediately, but does nothing for the underlying systemic problem

2 Often a “hack” takes advantage of shortcuts that disappear on an upgrade or revision of the platform

    3. It leads to chaos, encouraging everyone to implement their own hacks, with no regard to whether they conflict with the underlying plafform, or each other. It totally undermines change management and disregards any kind of engineerintg methodology.

    4. It often encourages a mindset of rebellion against management and governance, which can be destructive to a company, not to mention inviting intervention by law enforcement or government regulatory authorities.

So my simple stand on this subject is :NO HACKS HERE!
