We just rolled out a new feature that lets you hide any piece of activity from your ideas-based resume. Simply hover over a piece of content and a “hide” button will appear. Then click that button to remove the content from your feed – it’s that easy.
Here’s a screen shot:

The feature itself is long overdue, but it’s really exciting for us to finally get this out because of the implications it has on the future of Brazen Careerist. One of the major differentiators between Brazen Careerist and other career sites is that we give members the ability to showcase their ideas and potential as an extension of their resume.
It’s a powerful idea, no doubt. But to make this a reality, members need complete, 100% control over the content that appears in their profiles. Employers, recruiters and even potential business partners don’t want to sift through every conversation you have, they want to see the ones that best demonstrate the value you will bring.
Giving members the ability to hide content is the first step to making this happen. In the coming months we’ll be releasing a variety of new features that will really bring this idea to life, so stay tuned!
